Managing Data Source

Data Source Registration allows users to view basic information of all data sources within an OU, while only the creator can edit, delete, and utilize their registered data sources.

Prerequisites

Before proceeding, ensure your account has been granted the required asset permissions, operation permissions, and menu group access. If not assigned, please contact your OU administrator.

Viewing Data Source

  1. Log in to the EnOS Application Portal and select Data from the application list.

  2. Choose Data Source Registration from the left navigation bar.

  3. The list displays basic information of all data sources accessible to your account, including identifier, type, description, and creator.

  4. Use the filter in the upper-right corner to select specific data source types, and enter the target data source name in the search box to quickly locate it.

Editing Data Source

When database connection information changes and prevents normal use of a data source, the creator can restore functionality by editing the data source configuration.

  1. Log in to the EnOS Application Portal and select Data from the application list.

  2. Choose Data Source Registration from the left navigation bar.

  3. The list displays basic information of all data sources accessible to your account, including identifier, type, description, and creator.

  4. Click Edit for the target data source, modify the description as needed, then click Display Information show to update configuration details like hostname/IP address, database name, port, username, and password.

  5. Click Test to verify connectivity.

  6. After successful testing, click Confirm to apply changes and enable the data source.

Deleting Data Source

When a data source is no longer needed or becomes invalid, the creator can manually delete it.

Note

Deleting a data source won’t remove data in products referencing it, but the data source will become unavailable for future queries.

  1. Log in to the EnOS Application Portal and select Data from the application list.

  2. Choose Data Source Registration from the left navigation bar.

  3. The list displays basic information of all data sources accessible to your account, including identifier, type, description, and creator.

  4. Click Delete for the target data source.

  5. Confirm deletion in the pop-up window by clicking Confirm.
