Developers¶
A developer is a user who has access to the Developer Portal in the EnOS Application Portal. When an account is assigned the developer role, it can access the Developer Portal within the EnOS Application Portal to perform operations such as device onboarding and application development. EnOS predefines the following 2 types of developer roles:
Device Onboarding and Management Personnel (ID: DCMadmin): Responsible for device onboarding and management, ensuring that devices can communicate and exchange data with the EnOS Cloud normally.
Application Developers (ID: APPdev): Responsible for developing and deploying applications integrated with the EnOS Cloud to achieve specific business goals and requirements.
Developer roles are authorized by OU administrators or sub-administrators. For instructions on how to assign developer roles to users, see Managing Users. For instructions on how to change the permission scope of developer roles, see Managing Roles.
For a quick start guide for each role, refer to EnOS Quick Start.
