Obtaining Applications from Other OUs¶
In EnOS, application developers can obtain applications developed by other OUs through EnOS Application Registration, such as CBBs. Sharing applications can reduce duplicate development efforts and quickly meet business needs, such as deploying off-the-shelf alarm management or data analysis applications. This page describes how to obtain other OU’s applications, as well as subsequent configuration and usage.
Step 1: Arresting an Agreement with Application Owner¶
Contact the owner of the target application (if you want to obtain CBBs, you need to contact the system administrator) to discuss the sharing agreement. The following may be included in the agreement:
Environment: EU2
Type: CBB
OU: Demo OU
Details: Request the following applications and menus (providing a list of required applications and menus)
Once the agreement is reached, the owner will provide the AccessKey for the target applications.
Step 2: Submitting an Application¶
Log in to EnOS Application Portal > Developer Console, go to Application Registration, and select the Obtained tab.
Click the Obtain Application button, enter AccessKey in the pop-up window, select Search to obtain the application.
Step 3: Checking Application After Approval¶
Once the application is submitted, the owner of the target application will receive an approval request. After the application is approved, the application will appear in your Obtained App List. If the application owner updates the application, it will automatically synchronize to your OU.

Next Steps¶
After obtaining the application, your can do the following:
Contact the OU administrator to enable the application in your OU, and manage user permissions. For more information, see Managing Applications.
If you have obtained the CBBs, you can configure the CBBs and add CBB menus to your self-built applications.
