Managing Model Packages¶
A model package is a collection of models created based on usage scenarios. It defines the model elements for the devices or businesses within that scenario. Model packages simplify the model construction process, enabling users in various domains to quickly apply models to meet specific scenario requirements. This file introduces the steps for managing model packages.
Prerequisites¶
You need permission to edit model packages. If you don’t have the permissions, contact your OU administrator for access. For more information, refer to Model Management Permission Allocation.
Creating Model Packages¶
A model package contains multiple models. A single model can belong to multiple model packages.
Go to Developer Console in Application Portal and select Model Packages > Model Packages Created in This OU.
Click New Model Packages in the top left of the page and configure the model attributes as prompted, including:
Group: Select an existing model group.
Name: The name of the model
Business ID: Together with the group identifier, this forms the model’s unique identifier.
ID: Models in the default group will have identifiers matching their business identifiers.
Description: A description of the model.
3. Click OK to complete the operation.
Configuring Model Packages¶
Go to Developer Console in Application Portal and select Model Packages > Model Packages Created in This OU / Shared Model Packages.
Click the
Configure button on the right of the target model package to open its details page.
Note
When editing a shared model package, you need to click the
Custom Configuration button in the top-left corner to switch to the custom configuration interface before making changes. The effective configuration of a shared model package = custom configuration + unchanged parts of the original configuration.
Click + Add Model, select the models to include in the popup, and click Confirm.
Click the
Configure Model button on the right of the target model. In the popup, select the Basic tab and complete the following details:
Model Type:

Model Alias: A name for the model in the model package. When using the model through the model package, you can display the alias as needed.
Select the Image tab in the popup, then click + Add Image, fill in the following details, and click OK:
