Unit 4: Using Specific Car Brand Models¶
After a model is created, it can be used in device integration or application development. This file explains how device integration and management personnel or application developers can use a specific car brand model.
Preparations¶
Before starting, device integration and management personnel and application developers must ensure their accounts have the necessary permissions. If permissions are not assigned, contact the system administrator.

This job explains how device integration and management personnel associate the created model during device integration.
Step 1: Creating Products¶
In the Developer Console of the Application Portal, select Device Management > Products.
In the Create Product window, configure the following information on the New Product page.
Product Name: Brand X Pure Electric Car Product
Asset Type: Device
Model: Brand X Pure Electric Car
Onboarding Method: EnOS IoT only
Certificate-Based Authentication: Disabled
Description: Car product
Click OK to create the product.
Step 2: Creating Devices¶
In the Developer Console of the Application Portal, select Device Management > Device Assets.
Click New Device, and on the New Device page, configure the following information:
Product: Brand X Pure Electric Car Product
Device Key: Leave blank
Device Name: Brand X Pure Electric Car 001
Time Zone/City: UTC+08:00
Use DST(Daylight Saving Time): Unchecked
Click OK to create the device.
Results¶
In the Developer Console of the Application Portal, navigate to Device Management > Device Assets, click the Edit button next to the target asset, and access the device details page. You will see the associated model and product.
